Garment Care
Follow the guide below to help preserve the quality, shape, and longevity of your Foundation Knit.
Washing
- Cold machine/hand wash.
- Turn the garment inside out before washing.
- Use a mild detergent. Do not bleach.
Drying
- Do not tumble dry.
- Lay flat to dry.
- Keep out of direct sunlight to minimise fading.
Ironing
- Iron on a low heat if needed.
- Use a pressing cloth to protect the fabric.
- Steam is recommended to restore the knit's natural shape.
Storage
- Fold your Foundation Knit rather than hanging it to help maintain its shape.
- Avoid hanging the garment for extended periods, as this may cause the knit to stretch over time.
Like most knitted garments, some pilling may naturally occur over time in areas of regular friction. This is a normal characteristic of knitwear and can be easily removed with a fabric shaver or sweater comb.
